Membership

We Value Your Membership
The Florida A&M University Federal Credit Union takes pride in its field of membership. Our members are comprised of many people who care about their credit union. The members are the credit union. Members Helping Members are what we are all about. Members formed this credit union in 1935 with the sole purpose of providing financial services to the employees of Florida A&M University. Today, we have expanded our field of membership to include church groups, alumni, postal workers, other organizations, and the immediate family of members.

Throughout the years, FAMU Federal Credit Union has strived to meet its members' needs by increasing services. We want our members to know that member service is key to our daily operation and to the continued success of the credit union.

Members are eligible for many services free-of-charge since we are a not-for-profit organization. Members receive dividends for deposits and, in many instances, lower interest rates on loans.
